- On-site
- København, Hovedstaden, Denmark
- Operations
Job description
Do you want to work with international e-commerce?
MakesYouLocal helps webshops to expand and succeed abroad. Several of our clients are focusing on markets across Europe, including Denmark, which is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our Danish team in our office in Copenhagen!
In this position, you will play an important part in our clients' success in the Danish market. Together with the team, you will help webshops with a smooth Onboarding to our Native-speaking Operations teams. The focus is to ensure high quality and optimisation of the webshop’s current processes. You will also be setting up product training with the Operations teams and keeping your colleagues informed.
In your role as E-commerce Manager, you will share relevant localisation information and other requirements about payment, logistics, return setup and trust marks based on best practices and the client’s current setup with the clients. On top of this, you will help find possible ways to increase conversion and test and implement solutions.
Daily, you will be doing translations, providing reports to clients on their website’s strengths and weaknesses and presenting localisation recommendations at meetings with clients. It is a hands-on role where you will be doing all types of tasks that support the client’s success in Denmark.
The position teaches you a lot about international e-commerce and allows you to grow into more senior positions over time.
Our new colleague should have excellent verbal and written skills in Danish, and have a good understanding of Danish consumers’ mindset, as well as first-hand knowledge of the culture.
What do we expect from our next colleague?

A team-player attitude
Critical thinking and good problem-solving skills
Comfortable and confident in handling client meetings alone
International mindset with a strong business understanding
A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in e-commerce, digital media, web design, online marketing or similar is a plus
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Translation of product descriptions, ads, newsletters and other types of webshop texts
Providing valuable feedback to clients to optimise the customer experience
Giving monthly feedback on challenges and improvements for the clients' webshops
