MakesYouLocal helps webshops succeed abroad and several of our clients are focusing on the German market. This is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our German-speaking team in Brno.
We need your help with customer service, but also translations as well as monitoring social media on behalf of the webshops we work with. In other words, our new German colleague should be able to manage all the tasks it requires, for a webshop to succeed in Germany.
At our offices we have a great time at work, and after! First of all, we prioritise that everybody’s workday includes a variety of tasks. After work, we occasionally enjoy a drink or two, and we also arrange everything from doing sports to great parties (at the moment mostly online due to Covid-19). Since our head office is in Copenhagen the job will require occasional travel to Copenhagen for training as well as you will have daily communication with colleagues from Copenhagen and our office in Vilnius.
First of all, we are looking for people with the right attitude and for us, this means that you most days are happy and positive. That you are ready to step up when our customers need you and enjoy the freedom on days where they don’t. The job also requires an interest in e-commerce and a genuine desire to help the customers you are in contact with. On top of that we expect you:
to be able to speak and write fluently in German
to love to help customers with chat, mail and phone
to have relevant job experience, from e-commerce, customer service, or from another relevant position
to be comfortable with a computer and willing to learn new stuff
This is a full-time position and you will be working from our new office in Brno. Besides the colleagues in Brno, you will also work closely with +70 colleagues in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Vilnius.
We help businesses with the initial strategic decisions and localisation of their online shops, to make sure they meet expectations in the new country.
Once the online shop is launched, our local teams are an important part of the daily operations for our customers. We can take care of customer service and shop maintenance in local languages as well as business development, marketing planning and execution.
MakesYouLocal was established in 2010. The idea came from more than 10 years of work in leading Danish online shops, selling in several countries.
The start date will be as soon as possible.
We focus on 3 business areas described below and help businesses with everything requiring native language skills and cultural understanding, from initial market research to daily shop management and customer service. With our cross-border e-commerce experience from more than 400 projects and our +50 native e-commerce savvy employees, we work closely with our clients to secure international success.
