Are you Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish or German and would like to work with international e-commerce?

We need you at our office in Copenhagen!

MakesYouLocal helps webshops succeed abroad and several of our clients are focusing on the Nordic and German markets. This is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our native speaking teams in Copenhagen.

We need your help with customer service, but also translations to your native language as well as monitoring social media on behalf of the webshops we work with. In other words, our new colleague should be able to manage all the tasks it requires, for a webshop to succeed in the specific market. On top of that the preferable candidate are able to read and understand Danish – and maybe even speak and write the language as well.

What we expect from our next colleague

First of all we are looking for people with the right attitude and for us this means that you most days are happy and positive. That you are ready to step up when our customers need you and enjoy the freedom on days where they don’t. The job also requires an interest in e-commerce and a genuine desire to help the customers you are in contact with. On top of that we expect you:

to be able to speak and write fluently in your native tongue

to understand Danish

to have relevant job experience, from e-commerce, retail or another relevant position

to be comfortable with a computer and willing to learn new stuff

This is a full time position or a student job and you will be working from our office in “Østerbro”, Copenhagen. Here you will find 20 colleagues from 5 different countries all doing a great job helping our customers to succeed abroad.

We help businesses with the initial strategic decisions and localisation of their online shops, to make sure they meet expectations in the new country.

Once the online shop is launched, our local teams are an important part of the daily operations for our customers. We can take care of customer service and shop maintenance in local languages as well as business development, marketing planning and execution.

MakesYouLocal was established in 2010. The idea came from more than 10 years of work in leading Danish online shops, selling in several countries.
